Oh to be a Mum of an Angel!
"For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well....
Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.
Psalm 159:13-14
The verses above I said in a play when I was only 24 years old. God has always reminded me of how special each child is as I have gone through my pregnancies and watched my friends around me have children.
Brendon was a warrior and still is an inspiration to many people even though he is no longer on earth.
This precious beautiful boy was prayed for, conceived and birthed and growing up fast way before we knew just how short his life would be.
Dear sweet, adorable Brendon - thanks for being an awesome, brave little boy. You had more courage than I know of anyone!
I am so privileged to be your Mum and so blessed to have that for 5 1/4 years. Thank you Lord for blessing our family with Brendon.

Such a beautiful post! Precious boy.
I found this blog through Heart of Dakota blog roll and saw this. I couldn't move on from reading this w/out saying that although I do not know you and did not know your son - I experienced a moment of silence, pain, and grief for your loss and your pain. Just like you, I'm looking forward to the Day when all things will be made new and have a vision of you embracing your son on that Day as you worship together. May God bless you and your family as you continue to bless His name in all circumstances. (I hope this wasn't too intruding - I just didn't feel right about not saying anything after reading something so touching).
I also found this blog through the HOD blog roll and was moved to tears reading it. I noticed that you came from a missionary family serving in Africa. We're also missionaries in West Africa. I can not imagine what it would be like to lose my precious four-year old son, but we have had a very close death in the family less than a year ago. I do not know what I would do without Christ, and the hope of heaven, and the looking forward to the day where all wrong will be made right and everything sad will become untrue. Hugs and tears from a stranger but sister in Christ.
My eyes are filled with tears. I came over from the HOD Blogroll and you've really touched my heart. You are truly an example and I thank you for sharing. I have buried my little boy (he was stillborn) and I wasn't the most pleasant person. Grief took me on a long ugly journey. I am humbled.
I wanted to share a weekly HOD Highlights meme that I am starting to inspire and encourage others using HOD.
I hope that you will share your HOD posts and link up with others. I am looking forward to seeing how everyone is using Heart of Dakota.
Many Blessings, Tamara
